Expert Tips on Reusing Paint Rollers the Right Way

Projects such as painting your doors, garage, or other parts of your house may take more than one day to finish. When doing a painting project like this, some people just buy a new paint roller for the second day, thinking it’s difficult or even impossible to work with the one used the day before. That surely adds to the expense of the project. Other people may try to reuse the roller but find that the results aren’t as smooth as they want.

So do you just buy a new paint roller and get it over with? Do It Yourself shares tips gathered from painting experts on how to reuse paint rollers the right way to achieve a smooth finish without adding to your project’s expenses. Some of the tips include wrapping the used paint roller in plastic and washing the roller after and before each use.

Read about the experts’ tips here.
