This state-of-the-art smart window features double-pane window glass technology that consists of layers of electromagnetic materials and semi-conductors. These layers are thinner than hair strands and are responsible for blocking the sun’s glare and infrared radiation or heat. What makes this a smarter window compared to its competitors? The developers claim that, using your smartphone, you can program it to track the sun and to dim to a certain level based on changing conditions.
When privacy is not much of a concern, such as in residences and offices in high-rise buildings, this smart window simply eliminates the need for blinds and curtains, giving you uninterrupted view outside minus the sun’s glare and heat.
